How can we help you with a Knee Scooter today?

For anyone recovering from below-the-knee injuries, a knee scooter provides maximum freedom of movement without the need for crutches. The knee is elevated in an appropriate non-weight-bearing position to minimize the chances of re-injury and ensure that the user can move around comfortably. These mobility devices are easy to use and require less upper-body strength than alternative mobility equipment.

All Terrain Knee Scooter for Sale in Denver

Mobility Plus has a variety of knee scooters that you can buy. You can select the popular Eco Knee Scooter, which works well on most flat surfaces like hardwood, carpet, pavement, and sidewalks—or you can opt for an All-Terrain Knee Scooter, which can accommodate rougher surfaces like snow, gravel, mulch, and grass.

Both types of scooters are sturdy and dependable, but the all-terrain tires can provide added support if you anticipate a lot of outdoor use.

  • Where in Colorado do you rent Medical Scooters or Mobility Scooters?

We will deliver anywhere in the state of Colorado! You can also pickup rentals at our Showroom locations.

How do I know if the scooter is the right fit for me?

You can always call and talk to a professional to size up the right machine for you. Generally, you'll want to follow the Ideal Person Guidelines within the rental descriptions but a staff member would be happy to discuss what you're looking to do with the scooter to make sure you have the right machine for not only your size but also your usage.

What is the weight limit for scooters?

Our scooters vary from 250lbs up to 350lbs so your weight should be under the limit for that particular machine. Additionally, you should pay attention to height requirements so you aren't scunched on a machine just becuase you're under the weight limit.

How long will a scooter battery last?

We can answer this question in distance better than we can in time. Your usage of the machine on flat terrain vs hills impacts performance. Your weight also impacts performance. Typically, a battery will last between 6-18 miles on a charge. For most individuals that is an all day battery for normal usage. If you're going to go far distances you should consider our Mid-Level or Top Tier options because they can go significantly further and longer than our Basic models.

How far will a scooter go?

What is the minimum rental time?

There is no minimum! You could rent it for 1 minute or 1 day but the rate is the same. The longer you have the machine the cheaper each day becomes so day 9 is significantly cheaper than day 1.

    Is there a deposit?

No there is no deposit required!

    What's the difference between a 4 Wheel and a 3 Wheel Scooter?

The rule of thumb is a three wheel has a better turning radius for indoor or tight turning situations. A four wheel has better stability on rough or uneven terrain. So if you're renting this for predominantly outside we recommend a 4 Wheel. If this is for inside then we recommend a 3 Wheel or Power Chair.

What's the difference between a scooter and a power chair rental?

A scooter is a machine with a turning column or steering column in front of you that you would drive like a moped. A power wheelchair is driven using a joystick on the right or left hand side. If someone has use of just one hand we recommend a power chair. Additionally, if you're going to be in tight spaces like bedroomrs and bathrooms or inside the home then a power chair has better manuverability than a scooter. Both can be taken outside but if you're mainly going to be out and about with it then a scooter is more appropriate in most cases.

    Do you deliver Mobility Scooters?

Yes we do! We will deliver anywhere in the state of Colorado. Our delivery charges are based on mileage. If you are outside the Denver Metro Area we will gladly get you an exact quote. You can also choose one way delivery where we drop off and you return it or you pick it up and we come get it when you're done.

Can I do one way delivery?

You most certainly can! We are happy to drop it off and you return it OR you can pick it up and we come get it when you're done.

Can I leave the mobility scooter at my hotel?

You sure can. We work with hotels constantly that we can have a machine waiting for you at the front desk or you can leave it with the front desk for us to retrieve. This is super common for us to do.

What if I lose or damage the machine?

Unfortunately you would be responsible for loss of or damage of the machine.

Can I rent something for a family member or friend?

You absolutely can but just be aware that we are renting the machine to you so if there are any damages or loss then you will be held responsible not the person you rented it for.

I need to rent something for a work trip - can I rent it but the company pay?

Yes. We are happy to rent it to you and bill the company card OR supply your receipts for reimbursements.

Does Insurance cover mobility scooter rentals?

Your insurance MAY cover your rental but Mobility Plus will not bill insurance. That is a question for your insurance company and your policy. Typically, people rent the machine privately from us and then apply for reimbursement from insurance but you should connect with your insurance company first before booking.

If I cancel my reservation what happens?

If you cancel your reservation there are sometimes fees and penalties which are outlined in your rental agreement. Typically we do not allow cancelations after pickup times have passed.

If I want to extend my rental what happens?

We are happy to extend it! You just let us know by phone, email or text and we will charge the card on file to the date you want to extend to. Easy.

Can I pay cash for a rental reservation?

We do not allow reservations to be made by cash. We must have a card on file for both extensions and damages that may occur.

What do I need to make a reservation?

We require a credit card to make the reservation and an ID to release the machine to you. You must be 18 or older to rent and sign our rental agreement. You must sign our rental agreement to receive the machine (you can make a reservation without signing but you can not receive the machine without that completion).

Can I travel with a mobility scooter?

Absolutely. These scooters disassemble to 4-5 pieces for easy loading and unloading so even our biggest Top-Tier will easily fit in the back of a car.

Can I fly with a mobility scooter rental?

Yes you may. We just want to make you aware that airlines aren't super friendly to these machines so any damages you will be held responsible for. We have had this occur and the airlines are typically very good about repairing or reimbursing you but to be most clear our rental is your responsibility ultimately.

Do you have All Terrain Mobility Scooters?

We have rentals that are better suited for grass, gravel or mulch. Our scooter rentals are not all terrain so even in the cases of grass, gravel, mulch or dirt we recommend avoiding those and do not guarantee they can handle those terrains. The Mid-Level and Top Tier are better suited to handle them but, again, we do not guarantee their function in those terrains. We sell scooters that are more all terrain and appropriate for those conditions.

Do you have long term rental rates?

Yes we do! Let us know your dates and desired machine and we can get a quote within seconds.

Should I rent or buy a mobility scooter?

This question typically comes down to timeline and usage. If you think you're going to have to use a mobility scooter for more than 12 weeks then you should consider purchasing. If you want to use a mobility scooter on rough terrain or other unique circumstances then a purchase is more advantageous.

Do you have any rentals with lithium ion batteries?

We do not. All of our scooter rentals contain Lead Acid batteries.

Can I book a mobility scooter rental online?

Yes absolutely. Our inventory is online and available to 24/7 with real time updates of our inventory so you can book anything you want whenever you want. A representative will contact you during normal business hours to confirm your reservation once it is set.

Can I just show up to get a mobility scooter rental?

You certainly can. We recommend checking our availability online or calling the store first just to be sure before you come out.

Can I book a mobility scooter reservation over the phone?

You may book over the phone. We offer online booking options but if you'd like to talk to a live person a team member would be happy to discuss and book for you during normal business hours.

Do you offer same day delivery for mobility scooter rentals?

We do offer same day delivery in most cases. In the unique case that we can not we will work to find a solution for you.

Do you offer any credit from my mobility scooter rental if I wish to purchase?

Yes we do! We will credit you back half of your first weeks rental towards the purchase of a brand new machine. Sometimes people like to try a machine out for a week before purchasing and we're happy to credit half that first week back towards the purchase of a new machine at the time of return of the rental.
