    How do I know if the Vertical Platform Lift is the right fit for me?

    You can always call and talk to a professional to size up the right machine for you. A staff member would be happy to discuss what you're looking to do with the Vertical Platform Lift to make sure you have the right machine for not only your size but also your usage.

    What is the weight limit for Vertical Platform Lift?

    We have multiple Vertical Platform Lift Options with limits up to 800lbs so your weight should be under the limit for that particular machine. Additionally, you should pay attention to height requirements so you have enough rise. We can make recommendations to meet your comfort level and price point.

    Does the Vertical Platform Lift need to be plugged in?

    Yes it does. Some special electrical requirements may be involved.

    What's the difference between an Elevator and a Vertical Platform Lift?

    An Elevator is typically going through the floor from one floor to another. A Vertical Platform Lift is typically exposed and not changing structrual aspects of the home.

    Does Insurance cover Vertical Platform Lift purchases?

    Your insurance MAY cover your Vertical Platform Lift but Mobility Plus will not bill insurance. That is a question for your insurance company and your policy. Typically, people purchase the machine privately from us and then apply for reimbursement from insurance but you should connect with your insurance company first before booking.

    What if I have it installed and don't like it or don't want it?

    We want to do all calibrations and answer any of your questions, comments or concerns before installing your Vertical Platform Lift. Once the Vertical Platform Lift has been ordered we are unable to offer any refunds or returns.

    Can I pay cash for a Vertical Platform Lift purchase?

    Yes absolutely.

    Do you ever buy back Vertical Platform Lifts if we no longer need it?

    We do not.

    Do you offer refunds for Vertical Platform Lifts?

    We want to do all calibrations and answer any of your questions, comments or concerns before installing your Vertical Platform Lift. Once the Vertical Platform Lift has been ordered we are unable to offer any refunds or returns.

    Do you have any Vertical Platform Lifts with lithium ion batteries?

    We do not. All of our Vertical Platform Lifts contain Lead Acid batteries.

    Can I book a Vertical Platform Lift installation over the phone?

    You may book over the phone. If you'd like to talk to a live person a team member would be happy to discuss and book for you during normal business hours.

    Do you offer same day Vertical Platform Lift Installations?

    We do not offer same day installations on Vertical Platform Lifts. This is a custom placement and order for your home so it does take time.

    How do I know if the Vertical Platform Lift will fit my home or space?

    We start with a phone consultation to discuss your space, budget and expectations. If we are able to accomplish your goals within budget then we send out a technician to take all appropriate measurements so we can give you an estimate. Once you accept our estimate we order all necessary parts and will book your installation once we receive the necessary products from our manufacturers. Every order is custom and specific to your home.

    How long does it take to install?

    From the time we ring your door bell to the time we drive off will be approximately 6 hours or less for a single straight Vertical Platform Lift.

    How are the Vertical Platform Lifts installed?

    They have to be on flat reinforced padding or ground or cement or garage. We will discuss that with you when we do your In-Home Assessment.

    Do you offer Outdoor Vertical Platform Lifts?

    We offer Vertical Platform Lifts that are permitted inside a garage and true outdoor Vertical Platform Lift.

    What brands of Vertical Platform Lifts do you do?

    We strongly prefer Harmar though we are dealers for multiple brands. There are pros and cons of any brand but Harmar has proven to be the most reliable for us and their tech and parts teams are top notch when we do need parts for a repair. We highly recommend Harmar over any other brand.

    Are there safety features on your Vertical Platform Lifts?

    Yes there are. We can add additional safety features as well if you have concerns.
