Our Electric / Power Wheelchair Options vary from 250lbs up to 500lbs so your weight should be under the limit for that particular machine. Additionally, you should pay attention to height requirements so you aren't scunched on a machine just becuase you're under the weight limit.

Typically, a battery will last between 6-25 miles on a charge depending on those factors and your machines capabilities. For most individuals that is an all day battery for normal usage. If you're going to go far distances you should consider upgrading your battery size or look at machines that come standard with bigger batteries. We also offer lithium ion batteries but be careful with these if wanting to fly as they meet different requirements.

How long does a Electric / Power Wheelchair need to be charged?

8-10 hours is more than enough. We do not recommend charging more than 10 hours at a time as a rule of thumb. Never let your device drop to absolute zero and never let it sit for too long (more than a month) before using it and keeping it moving and happy and healthy!

Does a charger come with the Electric / Power Wheelchair?

Yes it sure does. Depending on your machine size and battery type will determine what charger you need. Chargers are NOT universal so make sure you get the right charger for the right machine.

What's the difference between a Mobility Scooter and a Power Wheelchair or Electric Wheelchair?

A scooter is a machine with a turning column or steering column in front of you that you would drive like a moped. A power wheelchair is driven using a joystick on the right or left hand side. If someone has use of just one hand we recommend a power chair. Additionally, if you're going to be in tight spaces like bedroomrs and bathrooms or inside the home then a power chair has better manuverability than a scooter. Both can be taken outside but if you're mainly going to be out and about with it then a scooter is more appropriate in most cases.

Do you deliver Electric / Power Wheelchairs?

Yes we do! We will deliver anywhere in the state of Colorado. Our delivery charges are based on mileage. If you are outside the Denver Metro Area we will gladly get you an exact quote.

Do you build or assemble the Electric / Power Wheelchair for me?

Yes, we certainly can! Charges may apply but we are happy to assemble, build and/or service anything we sell.

Do you offer any Service or Maintenance plans?

We do! We recommend our Service Maintenance plan so we are keeping the machine in tip top shape. Much like maintaining a bicycle or vehicle - regular preventative maintenance is typically cheaper and better than repairs! We also offer Labor Guarantees to make sure if something does happen then your Labor is free for your repair.

What if I need service or repair on my Electric / Power Wheelchair?

We service right in our store or we can come to your home as well. We offer protection plans and service plans and maintenance plans or you can get one off service and repair when needed. We're here to help! Service charges and Trip charges may apply so call to discuss with a team member before arriving. We want to make sure we have a tech available for you as we do provide in-home service so schedules fill up.

Can you turn down the speed on a Electric / Power Wheelchair?

In most cases we can! There are some limitations depending on makes and models but in most cases we can do that for you.

Do Electric / Power Wheelchairs have brakes?

Our models have self braking systems so when you let off the throttle the brake will automatically apply itself. This makes it very convenient and easy to use.

Does Insurance cover mobility scooters?

Your insurance MAY cover your Electric / Power Wheelchair but Mobility Plus will not bill insurance. That is a question for your insurance company and your policy. Typically, people purchase the machine privately from us and then apply for reimbursement from insurance but you should connect with your insurance company first before purchasing.

Do you offer refunds?

We offer refunds on Electric / Power Wheelchairs! If you purchase from our store we do have refund policies in place. In the case that we special order a machine for you (special makes and models or colors or features) then we can not offer a refund in these cases.

How much does a Electric / Power Wheelchair Weigh?

Our lightest machines fully built is ~145lbs with the batteries included. Our heaviest machines are hundreds of pounds fully assembled with batteries. However, many of our machines disassemble so the heaviest piece is just 29lbs. We are happy to discuss your needs and your abilities to make sure you get the right machine for you. Additionally, we offer llifts and ramps and other devices to make managing these machines into your car or home much easier.

Can I pay cash for a Electric / Power Wheelchair?

Yes absolutely.

We sure do! Let us know what you want out of your machine and we can make some great recommendations!

Can I travel with a Electric / Power Wheelchairs?

Absolutely. Many of our Electric / Power Wheelchairs disassemble to 4-5 pieces for easy loading and unloading. We also have folding or collapsable options that are easy to travel with. There are bigger machines that don't disassemble that we would steer you away from if traveling is a big part of getting this scooter.

Can I fly with a Electric / Power Wheelchair?

Yes you may but not with every model. We just want to make you aware that airlines aren't super friendly to these machines so there may be damages. We have had this occur and the airlines are typically very good about repairing or reimbursing you if something does occur.

Do you have All Terrain Electric / Power Wheelchairs?

Yes we do! We have a wide selection of options that are considered All Terrain depending on how big and far you want to go.

How much does an Electric / Power Wheelchair Cost?

This, much like vehicles or bicycles, varies greatly. You can purchase something new from $800 up to $6,000 (and above in special orders). We offer a wide range to try to provide something for every budget.

Should I rent or buy an Electric / Power Wheelchair?

This question typically comes down to timeline and usage. If you think you're going to have to use a Electric / Power Wheelchair for more than 12 weeks then you should consider purchasing. If you want to use a Electric / Power Wheelchair on rough terrain or other unique circumstances then a purchase is more advantageous.

Do you have any Electric / Power Wheelchairs with lithium ion batteries?

Yes we do! We have a selection of both Lead Acid and Lithium Ion.

Can I buy a Electric / Power Wheelchair online?

We are working towards this now! Currently you can rent online but you can not purchase. We are working to get our products online for purchases!

Can I just show up and take home a Electric / Power Wheelchair?

You certainly can! We offer cash and carry scooters and power chairs so come on by! No appointment necessary.

Can I buy a Electric / Power Wheelchair over the phone?

Yes you may! If you'd like to talk to a live person, a team member would be happy to discuss and schedule deliveries or in-store pickups with you.

Do you offer same day delivery for Electric / Power Wheelchair purchases?

We do offer same day delivery in most cases. In the unique case that we can not we will work to find a solution for you.

Do you offer any credit from my Electric / Power Wheelchair rental if I wish to purchase?

Yes we do! We will credit you back half of your first weeks rental towards the purchase of a brand new machine. Sometimes people like to try a machine out for a week before purchasing and we're happy to credit half that first week back towards the purchase of a new machine at the time of return of the rental.
