At Mobility Plus, we can diagnose, repair, and service both power and manual wheelchairs in Denver and throughout Colorado. We offer simple tune-ups and battery replacements as well as complete repairs and installations.
You can visit us at our Showroom & Service Center in Wheat Ridge, or we offer in-home pickup and return services. We can retrieve your mobility device so our technicians can properly diagnose your issue with the latest in repair tools and computers. We will diagnose the issue and, with your approval, perform the service. When complete we will return the machine back to your home!

Where in Colorado do you service or repair Wheelchairs?
We will service mobility products anywhere in the state of Colorado! We have multiple locations as well so you can bring your Wheelchair to us or we can come to you. Please let us know so we will refer you to the appropriate location for service.
How does the Service process work for Wheelchairs?
You can bring it to our Showroom & Service Center or we will come to your home and do a Diagnostic to find out what exactly is going on. Any issues that arise could be mechanical or operational so we need to get in there and figure out what is going on. If it is something we can fix on the spot we will give you a quote and get it done. If it is a bigger issue we will provide you with a quote on the repair and set some expectations on timeline of the repair. We may have the parts in stock or we may need to order special parts but we will discuss all of that with you.
Something is wrong with the machine, can you tell me what's wrong with it over the phone?
Unfortunately, a technician has to be the one to see it and use diagnostic tools on it to determine what is wrong. Our office team can not answer questions over the phone as they are not technicians. They will gladly schedule you a Diagnostic with a Technician for in our store or in your home to explore what could be going wrong.
Do you service all brands of Wheelchairs?
We do not service every brand. Please make us aware at time of booking what kind you have so we are sure to be able to assist.
I didn't buy the Wheelchair from Mobility Plus. Will you service or repair it if I bought it somewhere else?
Yes we absolutely will. Some brands are just tough to source parts on but we can discuss that with you before booking.
Does Insurance cover Wheelchair service or repair?
Your insurance MAY cover your Wheelchair but Mobility Plus will not bill insurance. That is a question for your insurance company and your policy. Typically, people purchase the mobility device service privately from us and then apply for reimbursement from insurance but you should connect with your insurance company first before booking.
What if I make an appointment and cancel?
You can cancel your appointment but cancelations will incur cancellation fees depending on timing and if the crews are already there or on their way. You are permitted to reschedule your appointment twice instead of cancelling for no charge. If we have scheduled you three times (original appointment and two reschedulings) we will require another payment to put you back on the calendar. We schedule time and push back or deny other customers for your set appointment so we must have rules in place for repeated rescheduling.
Do you do appoint times for Wheelchair Service or Repairs?
We do appointment “windows” or a block of time that the technician will arrive at your home or when you bring it to our Service Center. Our technicians always call when they are on their way. It is important for you to answer or respond to this call to coordinate with the technician. We do not offer exact times but can generally accommodate schedules and needs of our customers. We do our best to accommodate everyone we need to service or install that day so that's why we need windows instead of exact times.
Can I pay cash for a Wheelchair Diagnostic?
Yes you may pay with cash for an In-Store Diagnostic. You must pay for any In-Home Diagnostics over the phone with a Coordinator by credit card before we will send out a technician. You will be supplied an estimate for repairs and we do allow cash payments for parts and service. Unfortunately, we have had to make this a requirement.
Will you remove a Wheelchair?
Yes we will even if we didn't sell it to you originally. Please call to discuss and coordinate.
Can you move a Wheelchair from one house to another?
Yes we can depending on a few factors. Please call to discuss and coordinate.
Can I book a Wheelchair Service online?
Yes absolutely. Our online booking tool is available 24/7 with “real time updates” of our schedules so you can book anything you want whenever you want. A representative will contact you during normal business hours to confirm your reservation once it is set.
Can I book a Wheelchair Service over the phone?
You may book over the phone. If you'd like to talk to a live person a team member would be happy to discuss and book for you during normal business hours.
Do you offer same day Wheelchair Service?
We do offer same day Service in most cases. In the unique case that we can not we will work to find a solution for you.
How long does it take to Service or Repair a Wheelchair?
A diagnostic should take less than an hour to figure out what is malfunctioning with the Wheelchair. The repair time can vary greatly depending on what exactly is going wrong with the mobility device and if we have the parts to fix it. Your Technician will review the Diagnostic and recommended repair with you before moving forward.
What brands of Wheelchairs do you do?
We service most brands as long as we can source their parts for repairs.
Do Wheelchairs need regular Maintenance or Service?
Yes they do. Just like any machine, regular care and maintenance will go a really long way in keeping it in tip top shape. We have different options depending on if you bought it from us or not. Please call to discuss and coordinate.
I bought parts for my Wheelchair, will you install them?
We will not do service or repairs on parts you order or found. We guarantee our work because we handle the repair from the diagnostic through the correct part ordering to the installation or service or repair. We can't stand behind a repair we didn't fully handle so we won't do them at all.
Do you offer used parts for Wheelchair repairs or service?
We do sometimes have that option so if that is something you'd like to discuss please let us know and we will save you money where we responsibly can.
