How do I know if the Vehicle Lift is the right fit for me?
You can always call and talk to a professional to size up the right machine for you. A staff member would be happy to discuss what you're looking to do with the Vehicle Lift to make sure you have the right machine for not only your size but also your usage. Your vehicle, machine or mobility device and your vehicle lift all have to work together so you MUST make sure you get the right one.
What is the weight limit for Vehicle Lift?
We have multiple Vehicle Lift Options with limits up to 600lbs so your weight should be under the limit for that particular machine. Additionally, you should pay attention to height requirements so you aren't scunched on a machine just becuase you're under the weight limit. We can make recommendations to meet your comfort level and price point.
How long will a Vehicle Lift battery last?
A battery charges on its own when not in use. This requires no maintenance or action. If you have a dead battery or emergency, the Vehicle Lift will go up and down approximately 40 times before needing to be recharged.
Does the Vehicle Lift need to be plugged in?
Yes it does. We can wire it directly to your car battery or we can have a battery backup for emergencies.
Does Insurance cover Vehicle Lift purchases?
Your insurance MAY cover your Vehicle Lift but Mobility Plus will not bill insurance. That is a question for your insurance company and your policy. Typically, people purchase the machine privately from us and then apply for reimbursement from insurance but you should connect with your insurance company first before booking.
What if I have it installed and don't like it or don't want it?
We want to do all calibrations and answer any of your questions, comments or concerns before installing your Vehicle Lift. Once the Vehicle Lift has been installed we are unable to offer any refunds or returns.
Can I pay cash for a Vehicle Lift purchase?
Yes absolutely.
Do you ever buy back Vehicle Lifts if we no longer need it?
We will sometimes buy back vehicle lifts. We would need to see it and evaluate it based on time, usage and condition. We will make you an offer at that time along with removal service options.
Do you offer refunds for Vehicle Lifts?
We do not. Once that machine has been installed we will not refund any portion of the purchase. If you order an HD or special lift we will not refund any portion once that Special Order has been placed. That is a specailzed machine so we won't be able to re-purpose that custom order.
Do you have any Vehicle Lifts with lithium ion batteries?
We do not. All of our Vehicle Lifts contain Lead Acid batteries.
Can I book a Vehicle Lift installation over the phone?
You may book over the phone. If you'd like to talk to a live person a team member would be happy to discuss and book for you during normal business hours.
Do you offer same day Vehicle Lift Installations?
We do offer same day installation in some cases depending on inventory availability.
Will you come to my home to install a Vehicle Lift?
Yes we will. Some trip charges may apply.
How do I know if the Vehicle Lift will fit my car, truck, van or SUV?
You'll get a phone consultation with a representative to use our Vehicle Calculators to see what options we have. We need to make sure your vehicle, mobility device and lift all talk to each other to function properly. Not every lift will work with every vehicle or every mobility device. They are specific and you should use caution when ordering or installing one.
Can I drop off my vehicle for installation or can I wait?
You can either wait with us while the vehicle lift is installed or drop off and pickup later. Either is acceptable.
How long does it take to install?
Approximately 3 hours or less.
How are the Vehicle Lifts installed?
We can do different lifts for different situations. Some may be mounted inside the vehicle, some outside the vehicle, some out the back, some out the side, and others have the option for a truck bed too. We can evaluate what your wishes are along with your vehicle capabilities at time of purchase.

We do offer manual platforms but our Vehicle LIft options are powered.
